[when mikazuki rings the bell, at first, there's nothing. there's no sound, no response, a lull of silence in response. but shortly after he'll hear a somewhat soft voice from behind him.]
Good afternoon, Mikazuki. [there's even a polite little bow.] Do you usually take your tea with a straw?
Ha ha ha. Who is to say with human bodies... Hmm, other humans perhaps.
[he knows he's not an expert. but he nods once]
I am very fond of the courtyard. It would be a pleasure. [wandering that way] Though I wonder if others ever request you walk with them to other locations?
Sometimes I'm not sure other humans even know how humans react. [but they will follow after him!]
I haven't really seen many of you face to face like this, so not exactly. Someone did mention something about maybe going to see chipmunks if the camp ever comes back though.
[it is in this moment they have realized they have been possibly tricked by a terrible grandpa. assuming you're looking at the w1 doors dana i will let you rng between 3, 4, 6, 8 or 9 since gestures in npc.]
hilariously they're going to be headed to door 6 which is actually quite fun.
6. You open the door and find yourself inside an art studio. The door vanishes behind you; in front of you, there is a canvas, and beyond that, there is a space for a model to strike a pose. One of you must paint the other, using paints in very specific shades. Once the painting is finished, you both find yourselves back out in the hallway, disoriented. Only four minutes have passed, but the subject of the painting will find themselves overwhelmed by the emotions corresponding to the colors they were painted with for half an hour after emerging from the room.]
I'm not worried. [it's hard to say what their expression is with the veil, but they seem to be focused on exuding a kind of calmness. they also seem to think that mikazuki, at least, is genuine enough in that despite the fact they should probably be saying this to him. what if they stand perfectly still and look at everything to make sure nothing else will happen?]
How should we start then? You've done these doors more than we have.
[you're doing so good aquarius. mikazuki will then begin to wander toward the set.]
I believe we are meant to engage in this activity together...and I believe that there shall be some type of result from our actions.
[so he doesn't mind putting a little bit more of the choosing in aquarius' care when jiji simply doesn't feel strongly either way]
I'm afraid this old man will take another century weighing options if left to choose. Would you like to be the model? Or shall this old man be your still life?
If we don't know what the results are...I don't mind modeling. And with my art skills you'd probably end up looking like a potato anyway.
[perhaps the door will take pity and nothing will happen because they are staff. they can dream. but okay. onward they go toward the set and aquarius settles into a comfortable position.]
That aside, it means I can ask you a few questions. It's been a pretty interesting stay so far. You're doing okay? [besides the healing. with all of the murder and the npc to pc shift and everything.]
but mikazuki shall wander toward the canvas then, admiring the supplies. he will begin by wetting his brush and preparing the canvas. he's really going to do this like japanese watercolor you're going to get such beautiful fanart, aquarius.]
I am as I always have been. Do you worry after me, dear Aquarius? [and then a soft hum] And do you have a favored color?
[terrible, they don't deserve something nice. but they also seem fine staying still to model, so paint to your heart's content jiji.]
I can't say I'm used to bright colors. [there's a gesture to their uniform.] And I wouldn't say worry, but...guest relations means checking in on guests. And last I checked, you were a guest, so I'm checking in.
week 1, monday
Good afternoon, Mikazuki. [there's even a polite little bow.] Do you usually take your tea with a straw?
no subject
Fufu, it seems that I must in order to be mindful until I am repaired.
Do you like it?
no subject
The tea, or the straw? [haha...] I can't quite say I know yet, but it also seems to suit you. And it's a good idea to be careful. How are you healing?
no subject
[CARE MORE! CARE MORE!!!]
no subject
In most instances, faces should not be in danger of falling off no matter what...
[but they straighten up just slightly, mannerisms calm as they take the tea from the tip box.]
Would you like to have a seat in the courtyard? Or anywhere else, if you'd like.
no subject
[he knows he's not an expert. but he nods once]

no subject
I wonder what would happen if one of you ventured into the odd doors with us...
no subject
[that is a great question though.]
You haven't seen any of the new ones this week, have you?
no subject
Are you curious?
no subject
[but.]
Maybe a little, but it's probably not advisable for the staff to skip their duties to explore.
no subject
And should an injured guest request company? Might that fall under your duties?
no subject
[they say, weighing the pros and cons.]
no subject
[breezily, headed toward the elevator
mod do you have a preference on a door or else i'm rnging it]
no subject
Ah. I suddenly see where this is going.
[unfortunately, it is staff duty to follow.]
no subject
[cOULD IT? COULD IT????
hilariously they're going to be headed to door 6 which is actually quite fun.

on the other hand, the door vanishes once they step through and aquarius finds themselves a little on-edge as they glance around under their veil.]
So...what are your feelings about art? Still fun?
[oof. this is truly...something.]
no subject
I love art.
[though mikazuki doesn't begin to wander toward the other parts just yet, looking to aquarius first with a soft smile]
I will not allow harm to come to you, my friend.
no subject
How should we start then? You've done these doors more than we have.

[so, in a roundabout way, yeah kinda.]
no subject
[but he can stay away from those if they would prefer to stick to the uniform]
Fufu... I am indeed a guest, and I have been checked in on. I have received much kindness lately... How fortunate am I.
no subject
[they are now just curious even though they do prefer darker colors.]
You can't tell me that people didn't treat you with kindness before. [it's said in a way that implies they're hoping that's the case, actually.]
