hilariously they're going to be headed to door 6 which is actually quite fun.

6. You open the door and find yourself inside an art studio. The door vanishes behind you; in front of you, there is a canvas, and beyond that, there is a space for a model to strike a pose. One of you must paint the other, using paints in very specific shades. Once the painting is finished, you both find yourselves back out in the hallway, disoriented. Only four minutes have passed, but the subject of the painting will find themselves overwhelmed by the emotions corresponding to the colors they were painted with for half an hour after emerging from the room.]

on the other hand, the door vanishes once they step through and aquarius finds themselves a little on-edge as they glance around under their veil.]

So...what are your feelings about art? Still fun?

I'm not worried. [it's hard to say what their expression is with the veil, but they seem to be focused on exuding a kind of calmness. they also seem to think that mikazuki, at least, is genuine enough in that despite the fact they should probably be saying this to him. what if they stand perfectly still and look at everything to make sure nothing else will happen?]

How should we start then? You've done these doors more than we have.

I believe we are meant to engage in this activity together...and I believe that there shall be some type of result from our actions.

If we don't know what the results are...I don't mind modeling. And with my art skills you'd probably end up looking like a potato anyway.

[perhaps the door will take pity and nothing will happen because they are staff. they can dream. but okay. onward they go toward the set and aquarius settles into a comfortable position.]

That aside, it means I can ask you a few questions. It's been a pretty interesting stay so far. You're doing okay? [besides the healing. with all of the murder and the npc to pc shift and everything.]

but mikazuki shall wander toward the canvas then, admiring the supplies. he will begin by wetting his brush and preparing the canvas. he's really going to do this like japanese watercolor you're going to get such beautiful fanart, aquarius.]

[terrible, they don't deserve something nice. but they also seem fine staying still to model, so paint to your heart's content jiji.]

I can't say I'm used to bright colors. [there's a gesture to their uniform.] And I wouldn't say worry, but...guest relations means checking in on guests. And last I checked, you were a guest, so I'm checking in.

Mm... Would bright colors be displeasing to you? You do have a warm aura, to me.

[that makes mikazuki laugh and he seems thoughtful for a moment before reaching for the color palette. the dominant color of a dark purple, the softer tones of orange, and accents of yellow.

Hmm... It would be remiss to say that. I believe kindness comes in many forms. Though I would say.... I prefer the types of kindness I have encountered lately more than that which I received during the majority of my existence.

[they don't lean too far to see what colors jiji's using, but they do have their head turned just slightly out of curiosity. the painting will be beautiful but the emotions might be a mess. that's a later aquarius problem.

all the same, something in their demeanor shifts with that answer.]

Can I ask what the difference is? I mean kindness does come in a lot of forms, you're right, but I'm just wondering.
