Knowing that every decision I make while holding a blade may impact it. If I am a little too rough, the blade may break in half, and I will sit in the knowledge that this sword's life has ended. If I have a sword and decide to put it on display instead of using it to save another's life, that sword will forever be imprinted with the idea that it never served its purpose of existence.
