wow lepus doesn't know what to do with ANY of this. so after a moment deliberation they decide to make a choice they figure will probably go poorly for them because jason will like it too much but

they're not going to pull out a knife on him but they will lunge at him with surprising speed to try and strike him in the face. i hate this.]

Jason is getting punched in the face because Lepus is too fast. Instead of a knife gash, he will have a big shiner on his cheek. It manages to sort of turn his head which is pretty amazing. He also still tries to grab their arm to hold it in place.]
