they let go of his hand! and then just sigh, dramatically, and swoon across his lap. ]

[he mutters, with a shake of his head.

[ they are patted! they don't seem to mind this. they'll just sprawl here, then, since they've been allotted the space. ]

as it is, he huffs as he gives them another cursory shove and finally relents.]

I do not see what is so amusing.

[ it's very cursory and does nothing for them, because it's too late, aquila has recognized their victory. in fact, all the day is settle right back in where they've been left, smug and pleased. ]
