hmmm there was this one person at the camp i got into a big disagreement with primarily because he did something wrong and then refused to admit fault, and then proceeded to blame us for his mistake that kind of attitude gets people killed
People who cannot own up to their own mistakes are deplorable. Furthermore, people whose mistakes jeopardize others are even more deplorable. I believe you and I can both agree on that.
i assume it must be different for people who are not used to working with others but as someone who is, i'm pretty amazed by what people might do in situations like that!
I will once again ask you to please not take the staff's personal feelings into account for these sorts of things, Mister Kuninaga. But I do believe it may be beneficial, in a sense.
Like team building exercises? I wouldn't go that far, though some of us do work together and work on tasks better than others. Something small will suffice. Going overboard may overwhelm guests without appropriate planning.

it may be simpler to plan some sort of get together and to go from there

Though I would advise starting simple.

may i ask for a professional opinion then?
are there any staff activities you do as a group to better work together?

I wouldn't go that far, though some of us do work together and work on tasks better than others.
