So here they are, taking a walk down the hall, when...]
it's kind of dark inside though? light spills in from the hallway, but it's not enough to actively see what the room itself looks like. there are vague shapes they can make out, but no details as of yet. they can also tell it's about the size of a standard hotel room though. similar to theirs.]

When Harrow and I went through the security room, we turned on the lamp and the shadows noticed us. There's no telling if it'll work the same here or not, but...
[estelle is going to feel around on the wall, and she will in fact find a light switch!
all of the shadows immediately swarm and kill them.

when the lights come on, they'll find that they're a soft kind of glowing low-light, enough to see and be comfortable without being overwhelmingly bright. at a first glance around the room, they will see a few things. first of all, the walls are dark and the floors are made of a dark wood. the accent colors are very rich and deep (burgundies, creams, etc.) there's a king-sized bed that doesn't exactly look like it was made properly. there's a window with a windowseat, curtains closed. two large bookcases crammed with books flank each side of the window as well. the room has a fireplace and a plush reading chair, a small table to the side of it. there's also a large executive desk that matches the other furniture in the room with a bouquet of flowers on it, along with a few other items.
there are two other doors, probably a bathroom and a closet. likewise, there's another separate table upon which sits a chess set.
there are also a few items kind of scattered in various corners and on the walls in places.

estelle is free to wander where she'd like to! cloud is going to go snoop over at the desk. the obvious thing is the same kind of typewriter that the guests have. that's sitting there, and there's also what appears to be a laptop that's sitting closed and in a corner of the desk. there are papers in a messy sort of pile. there also appears to be two books stacked on top of each other next to the typewriter itself. a garbage can is under the desk, and the chair is a comfy, leather office chair.
the flowers are kind of tall and willow-y, purple in color, but there are a few fresh sunflowers in the vase, too.]
They've been here recently enough, so let's try to do this quick.

[as estelle looks around, she'll actually be able to get a better view of the room and see there's a nightstand by the bed with a few things on it. there's also a small kind of shelving unit with some trinkets on it. the closet door is partially open, but as she looks on the floor she'll find that there appear to be...clothes? a t-shirt and a pair of long shorts that may very well be pajamas.
on the walls, she'll find a few framed awards. they appear very prestigious even if she can't actually read them. something notable, however, is a watercolor of what looks like alphinaud's carbuncle.
at the desk, cloud continues to be nosy. when he looks at the books, he will find that one of them is a copy of law for dummies. the other is a dictionary. looking inside the garbage like a weirdo, he'll find a few empty c*ke cans, papers, and a stray ice cream wrapper.
as for the papers in the pile...they appear to be a log of the proceedings of the past trials. i am not detailing them. you guys were there.]

on the nightstand itself there is a small star-shaped alarm clock. it reflects the current time. i don't know what time that is, it's whenever you decided to break into this room. there is a book of constellations, and on top of it is a handmade gift. there's also a glass of water that's half-full with a silly straw in it, and a stray pin.
the shelving unit itself contain a few random things. namely, there's a whole bunch of books that sort of look like they were just shoved in there for lack of anything else. there's a copy of the shining, a book of anatomy, a book about organization, something called tusk love that estelle probably shouldn't open and is buried at the bottom, etc. there's a sticky hand and the picture frame hint from the alphinaud trial, but it's face down and sort of also shoved in there. on the top shelf of the unit there's a little stack of polaroids, and some paper flowers, along with what looks like a necklace from the costume closet and a weird black, sort of glittery rock.
above the shelving unit there are a few drawings taped to the wall: two stick figures holding hands, a chicken, and a giraffe.
cloud does not get to perceive any garbage papers. instead, he opens the laptop and it's a password lock. it looks like someone has used the keyboard, but unless he can divine a password he isn't getting in there.
she goes to peek in the closet! there appears to be...a lot of button-down shirts, vests, slacks, and waistcoats hanging up in those same dark colors in the first row. there are a few blazers as well. there appear to be other rows of clothing behind these. likewise, there are some black dress shoes at the bottom of the closet but there are other rows beyond these as well.
cloud opens the drawers and finds
snacks. they appear to be kind of strange, bright-colored cookies. there's some candy stowed away as well along with things like crackers, dried fruit, etc. there are various office supplies, some boxes of tea that have not been opened, and what look like a few dog toys.]

opening the window, they will see what appears to be a lovely park. there are trees outside, just a gentle amount of sunshine and green grass. it is all fake obviously because all of the windows are just projections, but you know.
i suppose i should also mention now that estelle has opened the curtains, it seems they aren't quite supported on the rod anymore because one of them starts to slide off and sag.]
