[it is a very nice painting. it's been hung up separated from the awards and obviously with some care.
on the nightstand itself there is a small star-shaped alarm clock. it reflects the current time. i don't know what time that is, it's whenever you decided to break into this room. there is a book of constellations, and on top of it is a handmade gift. there's also a glass of water that's half-full with a silly straw in it, and a stray pin.
the shelving unit itself contain a few random things. namely, there's a whole bunch of books that sort of look like they were just shoved in there for lack of anything else. there's a copy of the shining, a book of anatomy, a book about organization, something called tusk love that estelle probably shouldn't open and is buried at the bottom, etc. there's a sticky hand and the picture frame hint from the alphinaud trial, but it's face down and sort of also shoved in there. on the top shelf of the unit there's a little stack of polaroids, and some paper flowers, along with what looks like a necklace from the costume closet and a weird black, sort of glittery rock.
above the shelving unit there are a few drawings taped to the wall: two stick figures holding hands, a chicken, and a giraffe.
cloud does not get to perceive any garbage papers. instead, he opens the laptop and it's a password lock. it looks like someone has used the keyboard, but unless he can divine a password he isn't getting in there.
she goes to peek in the closet! there appears to be...a lot of button-down shirts, vests, slacks, and waistcoats hanging up in those same dark colors in the first row. there are a few blazers as well. there appear to be other rows of clothing behind these. likewise, there are some black dress shoes at the bottom of the closet but there are other rows beyond these as well.
cloud opens the drawers and finds
snacks. they appear to be kind of strange, bright-colored cookies. there's some candy stowed away as well along with things like crackers, dried fruit, etc. there are various office supplies, some boxes of tea that have not been opened, and what look like a few dog toys.]

the rod itself is still steady! it's just the curtain itself that's having issues. looking at it, it looks more like they're...kinda torn? there's a little bit of damage to them, especially at the top which is causing them not to stay on entirely well now that they've been repositioned.
meanwhile, cloud looks at the piles of clothes and unpiles them to find that some of them are like. socks. some of them are longer pajama pants. some of them are t-shirts and the button-ups which are a little stiff like they weren't actually worn for very long. why are they on the floor. where is the laundry basket.]

[now that estelle is standing on the window seat, she can get a better look. it looks like a combination of both? like something ripped into it and pulled down, making it looser. there are little tears near the top where the rod would thread through, and longer tears beneath that. it's only on the one curtain though.
who knows. the laundry basket is elsewhere. anyway, cloud picks up the steel warrior and puts it down in an indent. a new door opens for a crawlspace through the fireplace.
i'm kidding, but would that be wild or what. in all seriousness it doesn't do much but the figure it kind of bulky and a little heavy.
cloud wanders into the bathroom. it looks...kind of messy. there are a few small puddles of water on the countertop, and there's a towel on the floor. the shower curtain is half-open but there are puddles of water inside the shower itself, too. cloud can see there are starlight-brand shampoos and stuff in there. on the counter itself there isn't much besides a box of tissues, a smaller hand towel that's slightly damp and crumpled, a tube of starlight toothpaste and a toothbrush, and a little glob of toothpaste still in the sink.
also there is a laundry basket that is. absolutely empty.]

[they may appear slightly claw-like, yes. estelle is very thorough in investigating, and as she's feeling around the window seat she will find what looks like a pair of star-shaped sunglasses. given they're kind of just crammed in there, it's likely they weren't hidden on purpose. she just has these now. she will also find another dog toy, and a pen.

there's nothing really of note in the bathroom cabinets or drawers outside of standard toiletries and stuff. no secrets for cloud. there's also nothing on the ceiling, so that's helpful.

[estelle is now very stylish and adorable. i love her. the sunglasses are also comfy. she's also a very good girl and puts everything back the way it was, wandering to the bookcases. there's nothing really of note, though all of the books appear to be subjects about law, travel, etc. they're similar to the books in her room where they can't really be identified though because...hotel.
while this is going on, cloud looks under the bed and finds a.) a few snack wrappers and stray socks, b.) a paper airplane that's been abandoned, and c.) a bunch of dust.
the bed has so many pillows. and also blankets. it is actually a giant lump of blankets that have kind of been made to look somewhat neat. as he's moving them around though...

double-unfortunately, it's a very squeaky friend who upon being freed realizes there are two people. it squeaks again, and it bounces its way across the mattress before there's a flying leap at both of them.
it's a large animal. i truly do not know if one of you will catch it or you will both be knocked over.]
