[it does, in fact, proceed to lick the heck out of estelle. its dumb little tail is trying to wag so hard? it's busy squeaking and showering her with affection before cloud moves to pull it off.

Cloud is immediately spluttering and being licked, but it's affection week so. yeah the good boy does get some pets as he tries to at least put him on the bed so they can both pet him more easily. LOOK. affection. pet the damn dog. cat. thing. ]
I don't know about a dog, but it's definitely a pet. [ he seems pretty sure of that, scratching under the chin. this is now me playing dream drop distance. ] And I... I've seen something like it before.

estelle doesn't really see anything noteworthy about the table or anything around it! the chess set, however, has red pieces and blue pieces rather than the traditional black and white.
there really isn't much else to look at it, it seems.]
It's probably not necessary. [ he says it with a look at the puppy at, but he will go over to the closet to go look at the back/bottom of it to see if there was anything. ]
[estelle can hang with puppycat while cloud goes to be nosy and look at their underwear.
but okay in all seriousness, cloud goes back to the closet and starts looking around at the back and the bottom.
he finds a small collection of shorts, hoodies, tank tops and some sneakers.
...soon...the puppycat settles down, wobbling a little to go back to its blanket nest even as it licks estelle's face and hands again. the two of them get the sense that perhaps they should go before someone else comes back.]
Let's try to leave everything the way we found it, okay?
[She'll head over to the light switch to turn it off when they leave. She'll make sure the door's locked behind them, too. Actually, does she get to keep this key?]
[ goodbye puppycat. cloud pets it one last time but yes they were both good at putting everything back where they found it so it doesn't even look like they broke in!!! ]
Let's not mention we did this to the staff. [ broke in and looked at their secret clothes :/ ]
[they do a good job leaving the mess as messy as it was initially. the puppycat squeaks almost a little sadly, but it seems to perk up suddenly after a moment. guess it heard something.
as they leave the room and lock the door, estelle will find that the key disintegrates into stardust in her hand.
