[Rin wakes up just in time to hear that name, but he's going to try and pretend he's still asleep because he does not think he can talk without laughing at that name. He has all the maturity of the 16 years old he is.]

[ can she do a party heal (16)? they need to be able to move, if this isn't the last of it. ]

[She CAN do a group heal.

Her own wounds have fully healed. Rin and Futaba's worst injuries are now only surface wounds instead of going all the way down to their bones. They should have full movement, but they will retain scars of all the wounds they've sustained so far. They will also have enough energy to rise from their unconscious states.]

[Cock Robin frowns and considers what he knows about Central Tower. It's not that he doesn't want to tell you, it's that he's only ever heard some mutterings.]

I think... that's where the Magical Technology Corps do their research. It's where they test machines fueled with mana stones. I'm not sure if they've tried anything else.

[It partially heals Rin's broken arm. Rin can try and fully heal it on his own, or he can ask for more assistance.

The first question, he can answer with no problems.]

It did fall. That's what the earthquake was, I think.

[The second, he considers a little longer.]

You can investigate it on official business. Considering everything that's happened tonight, this should count. The tower is a few hours by carriage, but if you flew there, it would only take an hour.

[When presented with a moonstone he looks extremely uneasy.]

Where did you find that? There are legends of moonstones like this transforming people into monsters, human and wizard alike.

[This might be a few days after the sage's wizards fought the moon, but if the moon is out and bright and full, there is every possibility that they could run into trouble.

Futaba, you have made a bag. Hard to say if it's secure or not, but as long as you don't eat them, or put them into your body, you won't transform into a monster.

He will give you the direction of where the tower fell. It should be obvious, because there will be a giant pile of rubble, larger than any home, almost as large as the castle.

[He tries to heal his arm some more (8), but it's not going so great. It doesn't hurt anymore but it's still kind of weird-looking. But that's a problem for future-Rin! They have a tower to investigate.]

It's fine. We kick the moon's ass all the time, yeah? So we'll just beat it up again.

[He sounds confident despite the fact that they nearly wiped to one enemy.

But yeah he's as ready as he'll be. Let's do this.]

[ she smiles her thanks at cock robin. ]

Please be careful, you two. I would be distraught if anything happened to either of you.

[ don't be too foolhardy, is what she's trying to say.

But she's also as ready as she'll ever be. Her wounds are all shallow now, so it's fine.

Time to fly to this pile of rubble. ]

[ futaba attempts a mediarama party cure spell. it's super successful! (19). ]

[With Futaba’s healing spell, the whole party is free of injuries. Rin's arm looks as it should. However, they do retain faded scars of all the places they were injured.

Up here all you get is moonlight and starlight. It’s deep into the night, there’s no hint of the sunrise approaching as you travel towards the collapsed Central Tower. The cool night wind whipping at your faces however fast you wish to travel.

How high are you flying? Where are you looking? Are you paying attention to the ground beneath you? Only towards the rubble?]

[Asking Rin not to do anything foolheartedly is asking a lot, but he'll try.

He is watching the ground beneath them as they fly though. No need to get jumped by monsters as they fly towards the rubble! But he's also hoping there aren't more monsters and that everyone else is safe, if a little startled by the earthquake.]

[ hooray for scars!

thanks to futaba, shinobu is alert now that she's fully healed, so she is looking everywhere as they're flying, on the ground and around, as they get toward the rubble.

she thinks.... if it was a huge research facility that fell, there's got to be a lot of kickback and reactions and all that jazz. ]

[ futaba attenpts to spell her glasses to do something similar to her persona goggles for a map layout and enemy locations. alas the eight means the best she gets one of those maps that won't show up until she's physically standing upon it. very helpful. maybe later we can add cool updates to it.

for now she just hangs back, a few feet above and behind the two of them just to play her usual role of lookout. the dark skies get a dubious squint in between keeping sn eye behind them. no need to be spooked!!! ]

[There's nothing in the air besides them and the occasional insects. Above them, the moon and stars shine. They are the only things illuminating the night.

Around the castle they takeoff from, there are plenty of merchants shops, and housing. The further out they go, the less populated it is. In the direction they're flying off in, once they make it past the city, there's no buildings.

In this direction there is a cemetery that goes a fair ways out. In that cemetery it seems like the soil is beginning to be displaced, as if something is trying to crawl out. A bone skull pierces through the ground, followed by another, and another. Whatever magic research they were trying to do, when the tower fell, the effects spilled out.]

Zombies.

[He says, sounding disgusted.]

Don't go down there to fight, they'll probably bite. Let's just blast 'em from up here.

[ she frowns. ]

We should still take a closer look to see what's going on. They likely need to be stopped, but we can't know for sure.

[ innocent until proven guilty.... unless you're a demon (in shinobu's book). ]

You can try to destroy a couple to see if it'll work. I'll go down.

[ she drops down from the sky to close in on the cemetery but doesn't get too close to the ground, so if the younger teens want to harry potter or persona or everything it up, they can. ]

Why more zombies?

[ it's mostly muttered to herself but she hangs where she is and does a lil magical version of agi and attempts to set one on fire (13) ] ]

[Sweet Rin. Sweet Futaba. Do skeletons look like zombies to you?

Futaba succeeds in charring the skeleton (9), though it is still able to move.

Many more skeletons rising up from their graves, heads and hands breaching the soil. Some are armed with bows, others with swords and spears. Those with bows don't have arrows, they've long since rotted away. There are a lot of skeletons. Skeletons have long since lost their ability to feel pain. They break their own ribs and the ribs of their allies, taking aim and firing them at Rin (9), Shinobu (3), and Futaba (18).

Shinobu is closest to the ground, and a spear bearing skeleton stabs at her (3).]

[Rin rolled a 19 so he is doing some Sweet Broom Moves to avoid those ribs. Get rekt, 'zombies'!

But it looks like fire isn't working. Hmm...]

They're made of bones, maybe dogs can help with this?

[So yeah he's. going to use his magic to try and summon some super fierce doggos to chew up those skeletons! Though with an 8 he gets some fierce warriors in fun size.]

[ the good news is that shinobu manages to evade the skeleton attacks with relative ease. the bad news is that her attempt to telekinesis the spear out of the skeleton's hold does nothing.

she hopes those dogs can actually do something. she'd hate for them to get hurt.

but if magic won't work for her at the moment, she may as well do it the old-fashioned way. she's going to swan dive off the broom and try to disarm a skeleton for a sword (15). ]
