I understand the "heal my friend who may or may not be hurt" part, but the rest. Do you have any sort of plan for this at all?

So you have a delivery service? There's typewriters in each room we can use to contact you if there's a crisis.

Or how we want to go about healing them. Are there items? Some kind of compact thing we could have to use in a time of need?

I'd say we could contact you, but that could get old for you real fast.

But you didn't ask for Virgo, you asked for us at random. [ a brief nod at claude, then. ] There's a fee for everything, and every deal has to be specific. No vague "hey, my friend's maybe hurt or maybe injured, can I get a divine intervention?" or whatever. We can act in the moment, but you still have to pay for it, whether it's right then or after.

--Do you guys even know which ones of us can heal...?

The room service items are limited, and this happens every week. [ probably ] I doubt there's enough jerky to meet the demand.

That's roughly my hesitation on it too. If this is like the events we remember, you would need a lot of us to have picked, collected and not previously used the Jerky item and there are usually multiple people on these things.

That was why I asked for someone who could heal. But if you all have limitations or specialisations it'd be good to know them.

I mean more if one of you specialises in curing poison, it'd be useful to find out now rather than when we ask you to help with a severed limb.

If you're not allowed to share with the class about all your co-workers, what about what you can do healing wise?

I can share enough, because it's the same across the board. We all do it a little differently, but all of us who are magical have the ability to stabilize. We can't heal any of you completely, but we can keep you from bleeding to death on the marble.

But nothing in this hotel comes for free, like I said.

As to what you're asking - sure, you could call on me, or any of the others. Just go ring our bells. [ OOCly: if you do do this during cyoa returns, please do it icly in the return thread, and then dm the link to your mods so your requests don't get lost! ]

Again, you gotta make a deal to get it. We expect payment back, or the deal gets rescinded.

Alright, that's some relief. The information is appreciated, even if you think we're being overly pessimistic.

Nope. You don't get an example until I give it. Terms of deals, so on and so forth. If you don't have skin in the game, then it's not really worth it, is it?

But that gives us something to work with. It was normally eight people that went on adventures each week at Wiwaldi, so... [ frowns ] You can heal twice in one day, right?

[ they are not even remotely perturbed by this eye boring. in fact it almost seems like they don't even see it. they also sound like they're joking.

So you won't be the answer to all of our problems then. Looks like we'll need to get more creative.

Seems like it. We're not gonna be able to just snap our fingers and fix people like nothing ever happened. So, hopefully, it won't ever come to that.
