I think some of the other staff members struggled more with overseeing than being a direct participant. For me, though, it suits the way I do things better.

I felt similarly - it is not as though watching over others is something that fails to come naturally to us.
Yet I personally found the constraints of the role to be a bit odd to handle as well, and I never had to hide that I was myself...
