there's faint pressure, as they press the pads of their fingertips down, letting kaeya explore, letting him swallow, letting him react as he'd like. their pulse picks up again, rabbit fast.

... a few moments pass like this, hinging on something. they hum, sound like they might have a particularly wicked smile on their face. ] Open again.

[ LOOK sometimes i check and it startles me /shakes u i'm flying to ur house right now.

but he hums curiously this time around his fingers, giving one last soft pull before opening up again. aquila can probably feel the heat from his face against his hand. he can hear his heartbeat in his ears as his fingers splay a little more, lips parting with a final swipe of his tongue. ]

Ahh... ?

[ he smooths his thumb over the thrumming pulse, delighting in the sheer ability to feel it, skin to skin, sword calluses dragging slowly over it.

his other hand traverses the table slowly, carefully, finds the crook of aquila's elbow and holds. the implication: stay close as if they're not already at this table doing... this. ]

since kaeya is so thorough, he may also notice that aquila has a lot of callouses, too. his hands are soft, on the top, but the bottom surface is rougher. the thumb at his pulse can feel a scar, too, just a bit of roughened skin.

aquila pulls his hand back and away from his mouth. there's the sound of shifting fabric, again - something softer than the starchy sound of the uniform from before. as held, he doesn't go particularly far, but hums. ] Good.

[ aquila lifts his hand off of kaeya's eyes.

as he does, kaeya can see the way aquila's ungloved hand disappears under the veil - the hint of a smirk, through layers of fabric - and the way he must've closed his mouth around his own fingers with a little pop. ]

he's not a stranger to the absolute decadence of the act, but the sheer audacity that he's offered him a taste and watches as the hand disappears and the wet sound of aquila tasting his mouth underneath his veil. he swallows, heart still racing as he watches. ]

Still can't take it off, hm?

[ he still holds a bit of aquila's sleeve, his eye speaking volumes about the envy he has for the fingers that disappear underneath the veil. unfair. ]

[ hmmm. there's a wicked little smile, as they pull their hand back. ]

The uniform or the veil?

[ i literally predicted this answer. ]

[ oddly sincere. he picks up a berry from the cake and pops it into his own mouth. ]

Don't really care about the clothes. I want to meet your eyes.

[ a soft squeeze to his arm. ]

[ yeah. wow! hey. sincerity. he doesn't know how to deal with that, actually, not nearly as well as he can deal with being flirty!

he pulls back, though, going to gather a napkin and clean his hands. ]

Unfortunately, that won't be happening anytime soon. [ a hum. ] Shame, because my eyes are very pretty.

[ ok ] You'll just have to live with the mystery, I'm afraid.

[ he laughs, but doesn't pull away, resting his cheek on his knuckles. ]

I thought about as much. Couldn't help myself... your voice is just very...

[ he trails off, shaking his head. he is going to take another sip of tea, even if it's probably a little cooler now. ] Do you hand-feed everyone you bring here, then?

Attractive? Thanks. Yours isn't so bad, either.

[ they are so smug and for what. anyway, kaeya saying that does seem to remind them of something; the slightly gravelly tone returns, as aquila goes to settle back down in a chair, and then laughs. ]

Mmm... are you fishing for me to tell you you're special?

[ ah there's the mask again. he shakes his head at the question, however. ]

[ he wipes his lower lip with his own thumb and onto a napkin. ]

No. That's not necessary.

[ he starts to cut into some of the cake. ]

they push another piece of cake across from him, and pick up a cup of their own tea this time, settling into their seat. ]

Mm. The answer's no. You're spoiled.

[ rude! he pushes his fork into his mouth, humming happily around the cake. ]

[ amused. they return to sipping their tea. ] Just keep finding your way into my space.

That's not hard. I like being obnoxious.

[ he refuses to let go from under the table for example. they must touch somehow so he stays right there with ankles brushing ankles.

[ fine, they guess. this can happen; they don't pull away. this is why he's spoiled.

the truth is actually that aquila is terribly weak and tends to spoil the people they like, but, they's besides the point. ]

I know you do. [ that makes them laugh into their tea. ] You could say you and I have that in common. Not that I've ever been obnoxious.

[ raising a brow as he pops come more of the cake into his mouth. ]

I'll believe that when someone other than you says it.

[ rude. they pluck a berry off of a piece of cake and throw it at him, like a mature adult. ]

[ gasp. he takes a bit of whipped cream on his finger

and he flings it at them. ]

they immediately fling another berry at him because they are five years old. ]

You had your fingers in my mouth!

[ a berry goes flying back! ]

[ wow. they lift up their teacup to catch the berry in it, infuriatingly, and then flick another one at him. ]

[ and then lunges across the table a moment. he pops a very small smooch right on the top of their veil. he doesn't press too too far, just enough to catch a bit of whipped cream on his lips before pulling back.
