Well... For the most part, I wanted to check in and see how you're feeling, after all that.

Has anyone checked in on you? How are you feeling, Rupert?

I guess that means you guys don't have a choice but to watch, too...?

[said with a frown, before he moves on.]

Yeah - a lot of people have. Most people here are pretty kind, and most of the ones who aren't care more than they try to show, I think.

[well, he's moving on, so they will too.]

Whew, that's a relief. ...well - I guess I can't really blame anyone for trying to act tough, either. But it's good that they're looking out for you.

[agleam]

I think we all know that we have to stick together if we want this to work out well. I know you guys are always going on about how you shouldn't be getting too involved with the guests, but I hope you can at least rely on the other staff members when things get tough for you.

I think maybe you should spend a little less time worrying about us...

[gasps, but it's pretty clearly joking, as is the next thing he says]

I thought you were here to make sure our stay is pleasant.

I am. And it will be more pleasant if you do as I say.

Well, unfortunately, I can't just turn off the part of me that's going to worry about pretty much everyone, so.

It's sweet of you to be worried about other people, but you're really going to worry yourself sick at this rate.

Nope, I have boundless energy when it comes to caring.

It is really hard to know how to deal with you when you're being this insistently nice.

I would say I'm sorry but I think we both know that isn't true.

That depends. Will you actually keep that promise, or will you pretend you're fine even if you're not?

I'm surprised it doesn't mention in your file thing how exhausting I think it is when people do that.

Yeah, but people can be hypocrites.

I'm just saying. Just because you find something exhausting in someone else, doesn't mean you're not going to do it yourself.

You'd have less problems to talk about if you stopped making everyone else's problems your problems, you know...
