HOUSEKEEPER.

HOUSEKEEPER
Today, when Harrowhark is in her bedroom, she will receive a message on her typewriter.
You didn't think you'd just get to laze around all day, did you? Get up. You've got a job to do.
Immediately after she finishes reading the message, she will feel compelled to walk into the elevator, inside which a shadowy elevator attendant appears as a guide. Once she arrives at the destination, she will find herself in a room.
It looks vaguely like a combination of office and supply closet, with shelves against one wall that have a variety of labeled boxes on them - "Cleaning Supplies," "Linens," "Poisons," "Uniforms," and so on. Normal stuff. Along the other wall, there is a desk with ink, a quill, some papers, and a few binders. Two chairs are in font of it, in case Harrowhark would like to take a seat.
Vulpecula is standing by the entrance, their arms crossed, and they give a little huff as she passes through the entryway.
"About time. Okay, let's make this quick, before anyone notices you're gone."
They procure a few pages that are bound together, then flip to the very last one and hold it out to her. It's labeled PARTICIPATION CONTRACT: ADDENDUM.
"Read this over and familiarize yourself with it. This isn't a negotiation, so you'll either sign it or you won't - but if you won't, you might not like what happens next."
RULES
1. Once a week, after at least one murder has been committed but before the discovery of the victim (or victims), you will perform housekeeping duties.
2. These duties will be performed in exchange for THE BODY's safety. If these duties are not performed, THE BODY shall be wiped from existence.
3. Prior to the murder(s), you will choose three (3) guests whose personal rooms you will visit. This choice will be communicated to Vulpecula, who will ensure that you are granted access to these rooms.
4. On Thursday night, you will be responsible for searching your three chosen rooms for any evidence that the occupant may have committed a murder. Any such evidence must be deposited in the housekeeper's cart in the Housekeeping Room.
5. You must select a minimum of one belonging from each room to put into the housekeeper's cart, whether evidence of a murder is found or not. You may select more than one item from each room if you wish.
6. Once you have made your selections, be sure to clean the rooms thoroughly, change out the linens, and make the beds. Be sure to include a mint on the pillow. Customer service is key!
7. You may encounter a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on one or more doors in the course of your duties. If that is the case, you will not be able to enter, but will still be given credit for performing your duty in that room.
8. You are not to disclose that you are performing these duties. Discussing them with anyone other than authorized Hotel Staff will be considered breach of contract and will result in the destruction of THE BODY.

BUCKY'S ROOM:
The bed is made, but a little sloppily. His spare outfit and t-shirt are haphazardly shoved into his bedframe-shelf. Cap's shield is carefully stood up against the wall, his whiskey bowl is on his desk and smelling of whiskey, and a shaving kit sits next to it.
CLAUDE'S ROOM:
Claude's room is messy! Firstly, he's taken all the fake books that came with the room and lined them up against one of the walls. There are also tea cups that he's squirrelled away, as well as tea bags in the sitting area, desk and by the bed.
The bed is not made, and there are books both under and on top of the comforter. There is probably some clothes on the bed as well. There are just books everywhere, some are still open. There's also papers with scribbles on the desk with nonsensical diagrams, and words like "ELEPHANT??".
BRADLEY'S ROOM:
His glasses are on the coffee table, and his jewelry box is on his desk.
The bed is still a couch and he has not discovered it's a pull out bed. The sectional closest to the coffee table is being used as a bed. The blanket is always put back across the back of the couch. So it's as made as it can be.
The rocks and jewels have been put up onto the shelves.

She will also look in any drawers in the desks and will look in the spaces under the closet/desk/bed/mattress.
Having done that, some specific follow up questions: do any of them have any gift shop items in the room? any weapons? can she find where claude keeps his dagger and where bradley keeps his rifle? what are these rocks and jewels bradley has? what type of books is claude reading?
do any of them have tickets left behind in their room?

Looking at the clothes and shoes, Harrow will get the sense that if she wants them examined in detail and look for things like that, it would have to be done at the trial.
Bradley's desk drawers are empty. His jewelry box sits on top of the desk.
Claude's desk drawers are empty.
Bucky's desk drawers are empty.
The spaces under the closets/desks/bed/mattresses are all clear.
There aren't any gift shop items in the places Harrow has explicitly checked. The only weapon she has found so far is the shaving razor on Bucky's desk. To find others, or to find anything else (such as tickets or gift shop items) if they're in the room, she would need to explicitly check parts of the room or open things up, as if it was an investigation. The rocks and jewels are the ones from the room write-up in the pastebinned description - Unassuming rocks are littered on the ground, some already shattered, revealing blue jewels. Claude's books are just generic books and not of any particular relevance (i.e. we were just told "books").

Nothing to be found in the pockets, shoes, couch cushions, or teacups!
She will now need to decide which items she is taking from each room. She must take at least one from each, but may take more than one if she would like.
