anyway he's still totally confused by this closet but ok. has he found everything that is waiting to be found in this closet? he will check it all very closely!!
if he has exhausted all his closet options he kind of wants to look at that teddy bear on the bed to see if there's anything notable about it — cute little bear clothes or a nametag or anything? ]
anyway, i. hm. he will glance inside of them in case there's anything being stored in them or whatever, and will get a good look at the sandals but is probably not blindly sticking his hand into a dark bootie unless he sees something in it that looks like it warrants further investigation. ]
[(checks notes) the modern shoes don't look that much smaller than his - smaller, certainly, but not significantly so. the sandals, though smaller than them, aren't hugely smaller; it's a difference of maybe 1.5, 2 shoe sizes.
but as he is considering this in his foot mind palace, he'll hear a shadow portal opening up, and hear vulpecula's voice - "Oh, come on, Lepus! Don't be such a stick in the mud and hang out with me!" enough time has passed for yuri to have wiped the computer of prints.
they get the very strong feeling that they should vacate the room before someone comes through that portal. (aka you're done!)]
