[The labyrinth has disappeared, and everyone has been saved. Harrow, Annie, Crow, and Mikazuki are gone now, but—well, sometimes sacrifices must be paid to protect the world. No one mentions them anymore, as though their lives were insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
And so, the world moves on.
Claude, Tsuru, and the M&Ms are all taken to the hospital, where their wounds are treated and bandaged. (No promises these will remain once they're out of the CYOA, but at least you're not bleeding out anymore.) The hospital staff treat them with nothing but respect. You're heroes! Hurray! Potential trauma? What potential trauma?
(However, they will not permit you to eat anything but hospital food. Fortunately, they will have the memory/impression that their not-dead friends who visited snuck in better food from time to time.)
You don't have much time to rest, though. You never know when another labyrinth might appear, threatening the peace, and so you need to prepare.
And so, after an indeterminate amount of days have passed, here you are, shopping. Did you remember to bring your Loot? Apparently, that's the currency being exchanged right now. But once they enter the store, the shopkeeper welcomes them and looks at their Loot.]
What can I do for you? My stock's a little limited today. Sorry!
[In fact, this store has precisely two things for sale: -
- Four healing spells, one per person. These can only be used in a labyrinth, but will allow you to heal one minor/moderate injury in case any of you feel like you're DYING right now.
Wow. Much variety.]
I'd recommend the set of necklaces if you're short on supplies. They're good stuff! But if you have enough Loot, you're free to buy everything.
[Good thing (?) you murdered a girl while in the labyrinth.]
[The group chooses to buy the necklaces and healing spells! They have those now.
The shopkeeper also pulls out more things from under the counter.]
These are on me. Thank you for protecting all of us from labyrinths!
[They're... Hatsune M*ku figurines! One for each of you. You can decide for yourself which one you get, there are SO many M*ku figures out there. Anyway, just what you always wanted, right.
The shopkeeper pauses. And then, with less enthusiasm,]
Oh, and someone else came by and told me to give these to the heroes who dispelled that last labyrinth.
[They offer you all another spell. Again, one for each of you.
Dispel — When activated, this summons a knife. Stab it into a boss, and you may have a chance of returning them to normal. However, your success is not guaranteed; it will depend on you.
The shopkeeper shrugs.]
Whoever heard of curing the labyrinth masters? I wouldn't trust it if I were you—who knows what could happen? But I'm a man of my word, and I said I'd pass them on. So, here you go.
[Once you're finished with your purchases and free gifts, you're immediately whisked away to...
... not another labyrinth! Wow. Instead, you're in a place. I am not risking opening wiki links on my work computer so I'm counting on Alli to explain what this place is like. While it won't be familiar to most of the group and there probably aren't custom rooms for them except for Molly and... Claude? for some reason? (and the Nein), it should be something Molly knows well, so maybe he can show them around? Since you're all such good friends after killing each other's CR, you know. Either way, it's cozy and warm, away from the perils of the world.
It turns out that the entire CYOA was leading up to this moment where you just chill in this now CritRole-themed trip. Yeah!!!]
[ Everyone is joking but Molly is instantly nervous as shit for reasons indiscernible.
It is very nice in here! I assume since they are the floor where they can see the rooms, they’re standing on a balcony overlooking the extensive library with the warm hearth flickering away, and the huge bright stained glass windows that look a lot like the patterns on a certain someone’s coat (mollys, its mollys). I don’t know how much control I have right now. There may or may not be spectral cats of all shapes and sizes skittering around in a hustle and bustle every which way. The whole thing is built in round floors and the whole middle is open all the way up - oddly enough there’s no stairs. there’s 7 floors to be seen, and then it closes off like a giant camera lens. Molly is leaning over the balcony edge, looking down. ]
Don’t blame and or praise me, I don’t make this thing …
[Of course, as always, peace comes to an end. That's the joke of the situation, really. That you killed to protect others, but in the end, they're always in danger. It never ends. Maybe things will never change.
Something in their surroundings shatters, in a way that can't be described. Everything explodes into bright light, and even these four aren't safe from its reach—but they'll feel something pulling them away. It's hard to say what, but it'll almost feel like someone pulling them away to safety.
And then, it all fades.
When they wake up again, they're at the outskirts of a labyrinth: the border between their real world and the one within the dungeon. But this is familiar by now, isn't it? You've always known it would come to this again.

Claude holds out the Loot, and hesitates. ]
We have enough for everything, but maybe we should save some?
no subject
he also has Loot. ]
I feel like the necklaces may be important... but we also got pretty injured before.
[ also oocly, it is wednesday we may not have another shop. ]
no subject
Just physically taking the loot from Claude and handing it over. ]
We want the necklaces. I’m pretty sure I know what they are. Besides, might as well spend. Not like you can take it with you.
[ when we die? ]

Sometimes… you wanna kill your loved ones! Because it feels better! ]
Do whatever you want. If it doesn’t kill us then sure.

And nice! They decided not to be fiscally responsible and spend all their Loot. This is fine. ]
Thanks for the tip. We'll make use of it. Or not.
[ But... ]
Receiving this does make me feel like that wasn't the last labyrinth we're going to run into.
no subject
Of course it wouldn't. That would be too easy, right?
[ he will pocket his necklace and figure into his sleeves. ARE THEIR CLOTHES STILL BLOODY. WHAT ARE THEY WEARING. ]

Yeah this is important actually is his coat fixed…….. ]
Of course we’re not done! There’s always more blood to be shed amongst friends.

Anyway, she's keeping it. Don't look at her. ]
Dunno if we can call each other friends, but sure.
Also if you just karma'd us into another labyrinth I swear to fucking God...
