[ they laugh, reaching down to pat jin. she may feel like aquila has a vibe about them that is somewhat stinky to animals. they don't smell bad, but it is just... a vibe.... ]

I don't blame you, it's been a bit busy the past few days.
[ busy.... stares at trial and execution. but damb... aquila ur vibe? and you're asking me why i'm assigning rat. Jin is probably currently like those cats that don't want to be touched but also DO want to be touched. she is conflicted. because yaaay, pets. but also, stinky? ]
Usually my companion's room and my own. [ but they're obviously Not going there.] Otherwise the library, of course.

Library works for me. [ they nod, though!! and then open up a shadow portal. ] And if I am expected to stay at the desk, no one's told me twice. Let's go.
[ off to the library they go! seems like a good place for story telling, anyway. the two of them don't even have to walk, because the portal puts them right inside the door. ]
