[ Jin, the white nine-tailed fox daemon, just sits in front of Aquila and does her new ritual with the staff. she raises a paw to rub at the top of her head before looking at them expectantly. you can help her with pets. ]

Library works for me. [ they nod, though!! and then open up a shadow portal. ] And if I am expected to stay at the desk, no one's told me twice. Let's go.
[ off to the library they go! seems like a good place for story telling, anyway. the two of them don't even have to walk, because the portal puts them right inside the door. ]
