[ it is really beautiful, isn't it? aquila steps back but lets estelle go running, folding their arms behind their back and tilting their head up, ostensibly to look out at the stars, too. ]

Feels like it goes on for centuries, doesn't it?

Yes! It's amazing... [They can see her tilting her head every which-way, confirming for herself that yes, there are stars are every direction! Yay!]

Come to think of it, you and the other staff have been using names that come from the stars... Do you think yours suits you?

...Hmm. Well, I am a bird. [ joking, at first, but then a little more thoughtful. ] I didn't know the legends behind my constellation until recently. Someone told me about them. Had you heard of any of ours before you came here?

What kind of legends? I'm from a different world than everyone else here, I think, so I imagine our stories are completely different.

[ but, they walk up to the window to look, and eventually make a little noise, pointing out the location and shape of the aquila constellation. their bird! it lays right across from a bright, beautiful smattering of stars and galaxies - the milky way. ]

Aquila was an eagle, according to the legends I was told. It carried the god Zeus's thunderbolts through the sky, and guarded the arrows of Eros, that had struck its god and made him lovesick, to keep anyone else from being struck with them again.

[ there's something amused in their tone there, but they don't touch on it.] That's just in one culture. In another, it's a part of a quadrant, symbolized by the black tortoise who guards the North, but it's still known as a heavenly eagle. In that culture, it's tied to a more romantic story, too.

So, I guess it depends.

[aquila's the one with all the love arrows...... i see]

It sounds like Aquila carried a lot of responsibility.
