Estelle, I will always find time as long as you ask. [they have a seat! they are eyeing a sandwich but they aren't immediately grabbing for it because they are being polite.]
Thanks though. I'm due for a lunch break anyway. So what's up?
I was looking at the room service options, and while I could think of some practical use for most of them, there was one that struck me as very mysterious.
Would you be willing to tell me more about the "Ghost Of You" power?
If you have a person in mind, the ghost would take on that form. It's almost like a dream, actually. It's a clear vision to them but it's still not real. You can control what the form is, and you can control what it says. It won't last too long though.
...the only advantage really is making it seem more realistic. A piece of paper is just that. Paper. But a dream, or a ghost, or something that seems more tangible is more likely to be believed especially if it comes from a familiar face, right?
Maybe some ghosts are more evolved than others. [shrug!] Some people claim to see full apparitions right down to having the same smell as people they once knew. It's a possibility.
What are you more likely to believe? A trusted friend, or a piece of paper somebody randomly sent you?
week 3, monday
morning
sounds good
meet you there
[estelle may be waiting in the sandwich shop for a bit, but suddenly there's a voice behind her.]
Sorry. I had to finish some things before I could come. [the. sandwich is a nice tip though, thank you estelle.]

Have a seat. I got sandwiches for us both.

Really? [they also sound surprised.] ...I mean sure, but...what do you want to know about it?

Though I would think a note under the door would be simpler... Is there some advantage to using this power instead?

-- Oh, does Hua Cheng count?

...actually, I'm not sure. Did he tell you he was a ghost?
no subject
... He doesn't look very ghostly, though... He has feet and everything.

And... the friend, I suppose...

[but they nod.]
And that would be the advantage of a power.

[giving aikawa a dream-ghost sure would have. an effect.]

I see. Thank you for helping to satisfy my curiosity.
[She seems satisfied with the explanation, at least.]
Oh, by the way... I got sandwiches on a whim, but is there any particular kind of food you like?
no subject
...the sandwiches were a good pick. I'm not really picky. I'm usually okay with whatever I can find when I remember.
