...we're okay for right now. I don't know how long that'll be true or if we need to come up with a better plan, but we'll work it out.

I don't think that's possible for me even on a good day. [haha.]

Wherever's fine. [ he doesn't have to show cloud his ("his") room if he doesn't want to! and as for questions he kind of... tilts his head ] Most of it was already covered by Lepus and Vulpecula back then, but I can't say there isn't stuff I'm curious about.

Figures. I would have stuff to be curious about, too. [but there's a slight twitch of his mouth before he nods and turns to lead cloud into the room.

immediately, he'll notice that the room is only lit with extremely low lighting, tinted blue. kind of like this. there's a red lava lamp casting off some mood lighting as well.

there's a large bed, the frame a black color and decorated with black covers, gray sheets, and a few black and gray pillows. the bed isn't really made. above the bed are two things. one, there's a picture. it's a black background, but it has some blue bird symbol in the center. on the other side of it, there's a ripped piece of paper and a drawing of a stylized sun. that is probably the only sunlight in the whole room, seeing how the window is completely blocked off by curtains. there are two doors, presumably a closet and a bathroom. both doors are partially open. there's a couch against the wall, black in color and possibly made of leather. there are black bookcases, a black dresser with a bunch of items on it, two black nightstands flanking the bed (one on each side, also covered in items), a black desk with a black desktop computer on it, a good amount of various posters, sticky notes, and papers on the walls, and a stereo on a different table.

the room itself is a little messy? there are a few clothes on the floor and hanging off the back of the computer chair, there's garbage in the trash can by the desk, there's just random stuff kind of everywhere? there are shelves on the wall and some glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. the room, in a word, is dark and a little chaotic. but it's not really disorganized. everything seems to have a place. as she enters, a few items of note appear to be the knife mounted on the wall by the door and a bunch of different drawings and paintings are on the wall among the posters. unlike the posters, it's easier to see what these are. they're things like a panda, a motorcycle, a river, the aquarius constellation, etc.

meanwhile, on the dresser there are a few items including a solved rubik's cube and a crossword puzzle. both of those are set aside, but instead most of the space is taken up with. bones. one of them is a whole skull. one of them is a femur. amongst them there are also various pieces of jewelry.]

...my father doesn't listen to me very often, but it still felt a little off not having a shrine to him. Just in case.

... Your dad happen to be related to Harrow?

[ it's a joke that leaves it open for nico to say more or not about it, mostly ]

More like I wouldn't be surprised if Harrow were related to my father somehow. [but. there should maybe be an explanation.]

[ i hate that the only hades cloud knows is the one sora mentioned. anyway he doesn't have a base for this so he just kind of raises an eyebrow and looks over at the shrine again ]

... That kind of explains it. [ the bones and needing a shrine both ] Guessing he didn't answer you at all while you were here?

[terrible. extremely terrible.]

He wouldn't answer me most of the time back home either, so it's not that surprising. [...] My cabin back there has a similar shrine, and this room doesn't really suit me that much otherwise.

[ he looks around at all of it, frowning a little at the big blue bird. has he seen this before... in some kind of memory...

oh well not important ]

It's at least got your color scheme.

Close, yeah. [he can admit that he's a goth it's fine.] I think Junpei's similar. The whole closet's pretty much nothing but dark t-shirts and leather jackets.

No wedding suit yet?

[ this is the only thing he knows about junpei. ]

He has a few picked out, apparently. But don't remind me. I try not to think about having to pose as an engaged man.

Tried not to think of it myself, either. [ everyone was so convinced. it was terrible. ] He agreed to all this, yeah?

[ gestures. vaguely. by habit. ]

[everyone is weird and yet it means that he did his job well.]

You saw the contract, right? He agreed in the same way you guys agreed, just different conditions.

Yeah, I know that part. I meant [ gestures at nico, gestures at the room ] The whole switch thing. I know a couple of them probably weren't on board with it.

Oh. Yes. The ones who would've been more troublesome were dealt with and stowed away for later. Mr. Edgeworth was stowed away more for his own good than ours. And the original Aquarius and Aquila helped us with the swap and then left. I think Aquarius has a way to tapping in to check on stuff.

[he says this in a way that indicates he unfortunately knows Enough about junpei and does not want to.]

It's what I figured, but good to have it confirmed anyway. [ not the aquarius being able to tap in stuff. that one he is just. Okay. ] There's one thing I'm wondering. If you guys got here before us with a glitch, did you get a contract?

[resumed]

[he shakes his head.]

We got here really, really early. Like..."before we even had a chance to have contracts drafted for us" early.

[skyagain]

[ he actually seems to relax a little at that, nodding ]

... Good. So you've been totally out of his radar this whole time.

[resumed]

Makes a little more sense why we were so insistent to stay hidden in our veils, doesn't it? We were probably meant to be players just like you guys, but we changed the story.

[...he frowns a little.]

It'd be a different game if a lot of us had hostages, I think. [never mind how shinnosuke already does.]

[skyagain]

We've got enough hostages as is. Don't need to add any more. [ he is glad they don't for many reasons!! including that!!! ]

The only good thing is that it's too late for him to write contracts for us or anything like that. [...] Aerith's going to be okay, at least.
