I have to say, I really thought they'd go check after they started talking about housekeeping! But... I guess they weren't really all that worried about sodas and some jerky.

I think you're plenty helpful - certainly a lot more helpful than others would be in your situation. But... what's on your mind, exactly? What does "getting it all wrong" look like to you?
