I think you're plenty helpful - certainly a lot more helpful than others would be in your situation. But... what's on your mind, exactly? What does "getting it all wrong" look like to you?
The alternative, of course, would be to not bother solving it, and adopt the view of someone like a "Bucky Barnes" [she says this disdainfully] that the nuances don't matter. We're all subject to random possession, we're all equally culpable, so the executed party ought to be selected at random as well.
I do think there's sense in this, though of course I can't abide by that because of the risk to myself and those I care for. As well as the sense that the host will not find this entertaining, which is a problem.
All I am saying is that from a moral perspective I'm not sure there's a good argument for sending Clementine to her death because a ghost possessed her. Only a pragmatic argument for doing so.
There's never a good argument for any of this, if we're talking about morals. [they sigh.] Pragmatics are... well... you could argue that the numbers make it better, if you're just talking about limiting the total amount of bloodshed, or lives lost, or...
