That is reasonably helpful. I do suspect the more ambiguous items may be worth knowing the nature of, even if they don't turn out to do something useful.
I wonder - if it turns out we have purchased an item we have no use for, will we be permitted to return it?
It just depends on what you're wanting to get, I think! Like, yeah, maybe some of the more expensive stuff can be more special, but if what you want is something to beat someone over the head with if they come after you, a one-ticket item would probably do just fine.
[as for the rest...]
I don't think the gift shop is set up for returns. But, maybe if you don't have a use for it, one of the other guests might? You could try selling it to them.
[and then just log it as an item transfer on the reporting page!]
It is not bad, no. I'm fortunate in who came. Of them, only Yuri is someone I didn't consider one of my dearest friends by the end, but he is also...a person I got along with well, and only clashed with when he found certain actions of mine immoral. He never tried to kill anyone.
So I have a sense of the sort of person he is, too.
Sounds like you're in a pretty good position to start off, then. Situations like these are always really awful, and I'm not trying to make it sound like anything's going to be easy, but - it's easier when you have people you don't really have to doubt, don't you think?
I'm glad you have them here with you... even if it'd be better for you guys not to be stuck here at all.
I donβt disagree with you. I was admittedly relieved to see them here. I wouldnβt have wanted to have toβ¦start from scratch, in terms of cultivating relationships with people I trust.
Figuring out who you can and can't trust for the first time is really tough. [they look down at their hands.] ...speaking of starting from scratch, though. What are your impressions of the other guests? The ones not from the station.
Hmm. A lot of them seem a bit softer than we were. Which isn't bad in some ways, but... they are used to a different type of circumstance.
I have enjoyed speaking with Dimitri and Shinobu. I feel a little bit for Estelle, who is here alone. Cloud is...surprisingly easy to get along with. I did already know Emet-Selch, but he is changed in a way that I appreciate.
Call it curiosity. I haven't gotten to talk to all of them, myself... but I have gotten to talk to you, and we'll be seeing each other often enough, so I wondered what you thought of all of them.
[...]
The place you were from... I remember from the files, everyone who was there agreed to be there, right? So it was kind of like this, except you guys didn't forget about that agreement, so it wasn't weird like the whole contract thing here was.
...I actually did forget about it, technically, but I was an unusual case. Generally, you are correct.
Killing wasn't required in the agreement. It was, however, suggested that getting what we were promised might be easier if fewer people were there at the end to share in the reward.
I have been thinking recently that...there are many things in my life which I have been given no say over. So I value those times when I am given the choice to refuse, no matter how reckless or painful that choice may be.

[a nod.]
I did also wish to ask after the gift shop ticket items, but we may walk and discuss?

[vulpecula walks out from around the front desk, then gestures toward the revolving door across the lobby.]
What did you want to ask?

But do you advise saving for the two and three ticket items, personally?

Understood. So it is not advisable perhaps to spend everything right away...

We'll think about the best way to do it.

Sounds like you've got good allies, if you're saying "we"!

Why do you ask?

[they hum.]
What do you think? Is it better to be in a situation like that, or like this one?

[very easily.]

I get that. Even if it's got consequences, it's your choice and no one else's.
