We did.
We did witness someone puppeting Sieghart's corpse about and then having it wander off. Quite a show.

That and the skeleton constructs are a show of necromantic power, which is interesting but ultimately underwhelming. I could puppet a corpse when I was a child.

What I find more interesting is the reasoning for it. Was our host behind all of this, I wonder?

Less worried and more curious, but as you say.
I assume we won't have the question answered.
Do you happen to know Lucretia's fate?
If the condition was only to kill, Sieghart met it, did he not?

[lmao i thought that was confirmed but he just said in a thread his hostage is mari so it doesn't even make sense for harrow to be wrong oh well.]

Ah, Mari, rather. Sieghart's hostage.

But do you agree that by the rules set forth, assuming they are true, her safety is guaranteed?

Then if I asked a different way.
If I killed someone and was caught, could I feel secure that my hostage was safe?

The contract, then. Very well. I shall make sure to get my hands on it.
May I ask you a slightly different question?
Do you have a positive opinion of our host?

I want to see what you say in response to the question.
Obviously I do not necessarily expect I can get an accurate picture just yet, but what you don't say gives me an idea.

However, it is certainly possible to have a strongly negative or positive experience with an employer, I believe?

[what does she know she has never had a job she has only been the nightmare employer.]

So I will take a neutral opinion, for now, as a sign that you do not wish to rush to defend your employer, nor do you desire to malign them publicly.
