aquila takes in a deep breath when they arrive, pulling their hand back. ]

[i assume you meant with shadows but i love the image of them being consumed in flowers.

they pull their hand back, though, and emet just. reaches out to set a hand on their back.]

but, yes! they are consumed with SHADOWS and then there are flowers everywhere. aquila tenses just a tiny bit at first when they're touched, but relaxes into it after a moment. ]

Mhm. Y'know me, I like flowers. Do you have a favorite? Never asked.

I have never particularly cared enough to favor one over others, no. But I have become a bit more familiar.

[he finds a spot to sit in the garden, guiding aquila along with him.]

[ aquila hops up from the seat, and wanders over to go pluck up a forget-me-not, offering it with a flourish. ] You should go look them up, sometime! Might be fun.

Estelle spoke of them with me, earlier, after receiving some. Of their meanings, as well.

[he takes the flower, not hesitating before tucking it behind his own ear.]

they bound out of the way, playful. their shadowy wings are back out today! habit. it makes dodging large yaoi hands easier. ]

they come back over into his space though, after returning the gesture with an overly dramatic bow of their own. ]

[now hold still while he runs his fingers over a shadowy wing.]

[ sure he can touch! it doesn't really feel like anything - they're cool to the touch, and tragically not very fluffy. they are solid, though!

aquila holds still for this, allowing it. ]

[solid is enough. look, maybe he just wants to touch, let him live.

he seems content to do so quietly for now, though, just sitting here in peace for the time being.]

aquila doesn't seem to mind too much. they keep these wings close to their back, generally, so they extend one out for his reach, head moving absently like they're looking at the flowers. ]

[he is now in the 'hold a bird gently' section of that one chart

after a bit, though, as he idly pets this wing:]

Uhhh. [ wow they do actually have to think for a second. ] The crew from the station, for sure, all of em. Estelle's a sweetheart. Kaeya's great - Jason and Hua Cheng're a riot, Cloud too. Fun to pick on.

[ be nice, aquila. they fold their arms. ] Why? Looking for new conversation partners again? Haha.
