[they get a nod of acknowledgment! and for your knowledge as i keep copypasting this for Every PC: he has a pair of black raven wings, a silver crown's spires growing from his head, and wherever his skin's not covered by robes-- it's shadowy, but not dark, lit from the inside by a slow-moving pattern of tiny, multicolored lights. it's like somebody put a galaxy projector on him.

There was something I wished to discuss with you, if you've the time.

[that is a lot of lights. they seem to look him over, arms folded over their chest as a clawed hand taps their elbow.]

I do have time. What is it?

When the three of us found ourselves-- elsewhere... while in that place, we obtained a paper with the hotel's symbol on it. I meant to ask if you might be willing to look at it.

A paper? [interesting.] If I may, yes.

[they hold out a hand! they will try not to rip it on accident.]

[it's fine, he understands. his hands are clawed, too-- one arm is still in its makeshift splint, but he hands this over with his good hand.]

A sort of-- game, as it was explained to me? I do not know why it would have been in such a place.

No need for alarm. It's simply garbage from two garbage employees who are both going to be written up as soon as I get my hands on them.

Never you mind. Though I'm sure if you've spoken to enough of us you can easily guess.

Still-- it seems odd that it would have been there. A creature handed it to us, though I cannot imagine why it might have wished to.

I suppose you could blame the very hotel itself. It does sometimes act on whims of its own.

Do you find it difficult, then, to work within such a space?

[guestservices]

It can be disorienting for things to occur without our knowledge, admittedly. I would vastly prefer that everything be in a particular order and that if things were to happen it would be with prior knowledge and not finding out hours after the fact.

As it should be! Honestly, I do not know how your employer expects to keep things orderly as it stands.

...although mayhap they do not truly expect that, considering.

I imagine it's hardly his problem when we are employed as we are. [a job...is a job.]

I suppose not. Still, 'tis a poor way to run an establishment, if you ask me.

Believe me, I've noticed. [a sigh.] But we do the best to our ability under our employment, and assuring that you all are taken care of.

Have you at least found the majority of our lot to make for acceptable guests, then?

[guestservices]

In their own ways, I suppose. Several of you severely lack manners and basic critical thinking skills, but for the most part several of you are acceptable. Though I imagine a fair few of you feel the same way about us.

I expect we may. I know I certainly prefer some of your company to others.

Might I ask whom? If our staff isn't up to standard...

I have not found any I've personally spoken with to actually shirk their duties.

And how many of them have you spoken to?

[ktiseos]

Not all, admittedly. There are a number of you.

Were you able to speak to all the four Residents in the Prism adequately?

[it was very funny though i'm crying]

Not as much as I might have liked, for at least one, and there are twice as many staff here.
