...I do not disagree. It is reminiscent enough of my home that, were I not well aware it were not the case, I could nearly think myself there.

There are stars up here, aren't there? They're hard to see.

[he silently turns off the light, going over to close the curtain over the window-- in the dark, they're easier to see.]

[ they hum, reaching up to touch one. ] Should've snuck some constellations up here.

Mine, obviously. [ and then they start snickering which is not very surprising, somehow. ]

[he rolls his eyes at that, taking a drink from his glass.]

Of course you would have. Do that to your own room.

[ they laugh, then, tilting their head back with it. ] I could've put a dick up here, and you never would have even known it.

If you put a dick on my ceiling, I am doing nothing for you again.

[stop hovering by his ceiling and laughing at him! damn!]

they seem very pleased with themselves, reaching up under their veil and probably wiping a tear from their eye, if they have eyes. however, they will come down from their ceiling investigation gracefully, hovering a little bit in front of emet-selch, wineglass in hand. ]

Haha. "Doing nothing for me" - you know it's my job to do stuff for you, not the other way around, right?

And it is also, evidently, also up to us to do things at your request.

[their tasks. huffs.]

Yeah, because you earn things by doing it.

[ they make a little tsk tsk noise, and then take a drink from their wine - the glass disappears under the veil. ]

But if you wanna do favors for me just because, hey, I don't mind that either.

I am a busy man, you realize.

[he watches the glass disappear, curiously, as he drinks from his own.]

Besides the fact that I will have something to ask from you later, as I said.

Oh, I realize.

[ they snort a little to that, but settle into place - the hovering does stop, as they touch back down on the ground, and the shadowy wings retreat into their back once more. ]

's right. You after one of my Room Service powers, then?

I shall be, yes, when I am able to ask. I feel as if I ought to focus upon finishing what I have started first.

on the other hand these things take time, so.]

I'll start thinking up the best way to torment you with a task then.

[ this is obviously joking, though. they laugh, and sit on the edge of the bed with their wine glass. ]

You know, I think I have changed my mind.

[ aquila takes another drink, still sounding very amused. ]

I have never described myself as easy.

[takes another sip... he is running low on wine by now.]

But I do somewhat miss the capability for flight.

[ they will reach over and top off his glass for him with the bottle they got from the shadow bartender. ]

Something you could do at home? It is pretty great.

I had a spell or two with the capacity for it, yes. Though never quite in the sense that you offer.

I have found myself curious about it.

It's fun like this. You can travel so fast - faster than people'd believe, if you're good at it.

[ they hum; the shadowy wings form at their back again, just briefly, stretching out behind their back. ] I can't imagine doing it any other way.

[the fingers wrapped around his glass twitch, arm shifting briefly as if he thinks to touch them, but. his free hand is occupied.

I knew someone who did, as well. Mayhap that is where my curiosity springs from.
