I suppose that seems fair enough, then. And I don't expect you would say so if I were in fact in competition.
[it feels too easy, probably.]
It is still my answer, but I am curious how exactly it functions if they might be open again. Do you mean in the sense that if I were, say, third, I would still be required to wait another week, or that even if I were the second, there may be no availability?
The "might" is a disclaimer for the caveat that there's a blanket limit across the weeks. Generally, though, we wouldn't be giving out more tasks than we have available overall slots, if that makes sense. So being put on the waitlist would be with the assumption you'd automatically get it the next week.
Convince three people on separate occasions that a ridiculous or embarrassing lie about yourself is completely true. Maintain this story for the duration of the day. [i.e. for the duration of the thread, which should be relatively substantial aka not super short.] Obviously, you can't tell them it's for a task until everything is said and done.
Then, report back to me.
[oocly emet can throw in another audience with links to the relevant threads!]

...very well, then. I shall do so.

Get to it, then.
[said in the same tone of "perish."]
