I don't mind them seeing as they're tips and not specifically targeted presents. A tip is a bonus, an afterthought, something in-addition to what's already been received. Being particular about it now is illogical.
You can ask for something you’d like. Better than having to drop a lot of junk you didn’t actually have any interest in in the corner of your room.
