One second!
[it'll take a little bit, but the door swings open a moment later. sei stands there, still wearing the hotel uniform, but now wearing the blue-and-white haori from the closet overtop it.
yuri can step into the room - she's got some supplies for katan maintenance out on the floor, and appears to have been in the middle of that.]
Everything okay? Nothing else strange has happened out there yet, has it?
Nothing out of the usual, no. You might want to be cautious or have a way of getting a message to someone tonight though -- Thursday's normally when we all pass out with no control. If somethings going to happen, it'll be around then.
[ hmmmm. ]
Typewriters might not be convenient in a situation where you're in trouble.
I mean, at least one of you turned out to be a personal connection so yes, unsurprisingly. You’ve all been through these things before too, no? Why should you be stuck here as well?
[ :/ ]
Right. Although we’re still in the process of how we get the others to the lobby. Cemetery’s going to be the key here isn’t it? But then there’s the talk of costumes and fashion. Obscuring them so they look like general staff and don’t draw the ire of the Nightman? [ i chose great weeks to be sleep and unfocused, hello.
after a moment though, he digs through his pocket and hands sei a tube of lipstick. ]
Assuage my paranoia, will you? If something happens overnight, leave a mark on your bathroom mirror. A cross or something will do. I’m assuming you know what this does, but make sure I’m the intended recipient.
Unless it seems easier to leave a mark if nothing happened, but we’ll need to decide either way before tonight.

We won't be stuck! I swear it. We'll be sure to wriggle out of this and reunite with you all once you're free of your own contracts.
...it could be the cemetery, it could be other parts of the hotel - I think it'll depend on what you all decide you want to try and where you're looking for glitches. I'm not sure about costumes and fashion, but if you guys think that's important... talking about it once it's too late for the Nightman to do much to stop you might be a good idea. What you really want to avoid is tipping your hand too early and giving him chances to plan against whatever you're planning.
[she takes the lipstick and looks at it thoughtfully.]
If something happens, I don't know that I'll have time to duck into the bathroom to do that. But if we leave on our own terms, I'll be sure to write something so you know we're okay. Does that work?
So, focus on the glitches rather than keeping ourselves locked into the idea that it has to be the cemetery and nothing else. [ he shrugs. ] The theory's been... disguises I suppose. But I guess we'll know when we have to act either way.
[ he nods. ]
That'll do it. Just as long as we know you didn't get kidnapped.
Right. If you're too focused on a single place, the chance of you missing an opportunity elsewhere go much higher. Not only that, but being focused on one location will make it easier for the Nightman to mess around with that place and make it harder for you.
...I don't actually know where the disguises idea came from, myself. But I'm sure there must have been some reason for it...?
[???]
In any case. I don't plan to allow myself to get kidnapped, and I don't see the others allowing that, either. We'll be alright. Trust in us, Yuri.

[cute.]
We'll be careful, I promise! Don't worry about us. Focus on getting yourself and the others to the lobby for checkout.
