Sure, I don't know a thing about you or whatever it is you want, but if you wanted us dead, you wouldn't hang with us or come out to lunch with me... probably.

But I guess even if you did, it's still nice that you decided to play along anyway.

Drop the probably and you've got it about right. I have a job to do, but that doesn't mean I can't entertain lunches or spend time with people if that's what they want. And I don't really mind that much either. It's...easier when there's only a few of you at a time, sometimes.

Yeah, sometimes. I'm getting used to talking to big groups of people again but it's still a long process.

Wasn't really social before?

It's a little complicated. Never really had much time at first. Then I didn't have much interest. And then it was kind of both, for a while.

You know, that's fair. It's not for everyone.

I think that makes it more flattering that you agreed to spend time with me.
