...the grass out here is a little more comfortable to lie down on than I thought it'd be.

Is it? [o:] I'm not usually a fan of, uh, sleeping outside ever. But it's not too bad.

I don't usually do it, either! And nothing beats a comfortable bed. But it's pretty nice every once in a while.

[a little nod...]

As long as I still have a bed to go back to. [she absently picks at the grass.]

Right. It's nice as a novelty, but not so nice if you're having to do it every day.

[they stare up at the perpetual-twilight sky.]

...I wish it looked like it was daytime here, sometimes. Looking for shapes in the clouds is a relaxing way to pass the time.

[lup doesn't seem to mind, at least.]

I haven't done that since I was a little kid, I think. I got caught up looking at the stars more often.

You like stargazing, then...?

I do! It, uh, it actually is... probably why I'm here? In a weird way.

I wanted to see them. The stars, I mean. So me and my brother went to school to get there, and we ended up chased by the Hunger, and then all of that happened, and I ended up in an umbrella. I don't think the UWU would've found me if I hadn't been in there.

...and then the Nightman wouldn't have found you, if he hadn't been watching the station.

[they sigh.]

It's funny, isn't it? How things like that sort of... add up, and end up forming the path you took to get where you are today.

It's kind of scary to think of something being more powerful than the UWU. [hate that hate that]

I don't know that I'd say more powerful. Powerful in a different way, maybe.

Powerful enough to watch the UWU without it sensing the guy. [but.] Different way, huh.

At least, that's the impression I get.

Well. The Nightman's a lot more hands off. That's for sure.

In some ways, I'm okay with that. I don't think I'd want to deal with a... [they pause, bringing a hand up to muffle a giggle.] "Fuck alarm".

Yeah. Anyway, be glad. Fridays sucked, for more than the obvious reasons.
