That depends, uh - do you want to stick around here? Because we can just go for a walk, if you want.

I've been in my room way too much this entire stay. We can walk. I don't mind. With everything else going on...eyes are probably elsewhere at the moment anyway.

Yeah, I'm betting it's a busy day. [she says wryly.] ... If you need to cover up I can throw my hood on you.

I'm not really that good at hiding out. [an equal tease. but he takes the hand!]

Got a destination in mind? Or should we just see where we go?

Eh. I figure my feet will take me wherever I want to go.

[she swings their hands a little and sets off.]

Sounds like a good way to go. [and so he follows. there's a hum though, thinking that question over.]

I think...I feel about the same as before. Not much has changed yet.

[so she's. a little worried. but.] You have magic and stuff though, right? You can protect yourself?

...I don't think he's going to retaliate before we come up with a plan, at least. So we'll be okay. [but he nods in agreement.]

I've been sparring since I was a kid. And I have all of my magic still and my Keyblade. I can protect everyone I have to.

[evocationary]

Okay, but you protect yourself, first. [she says, a little insistent. mom voice...]

I will, I will. I know what I'm doing and I can protect myself at the same time as everybody else.

[evocationary]

That's right. We got here before you guys did, and we weren't supposed to. [but now he just looks a little embarrassed.] I only knocked him out, like, a couple of times. Then he asked for tea and that and my magic was good enough.

[evocationary]

He needs a nap anyway. [she says, swinging their hands.]

So - you woke up, and you weren't supposed to. [...] And you saw the people that were going to be in charge and decided you weren't going to let that happen?

That sounds about right, yes. You've heard about the kind of people that were initially going to be in charge, didn't you?

[she frowns.]

... I guess so, but not all of them were bad.

And the ones that weren't bad agreed to help us with what we needed to do.

Which was... what? I guess you don't have contracts, which gives you a bit more freedom. Sort of.

[reconnective]

Right. Without the contracts it meant we could do what we wanted which was try to buy you guys some more time to make sure that the collateral damage was less. And give you a chance to find a way to bring them all back.
