That is an abysmal roll though! So the torch hits the ground and it does begin to catch fire almost immediately. Unfortunately the rolls are really not in Aikawa's favor tonight, so not even rain seeping through cracks in the thatched ceiling do much to temper it. On the plus side, this will probably temporarily alleviate any suspicion that something is Up In The Watchtower because hey! The lantern's lit!
Except it's not the lantern, it's a fire and that fire is catching on the dry interior of this watchtower like it's a tinderbox, oops. It's already spreading to the handrails and the first steps! Aikawa might want to abandon his snackeroonies and anything else in here and consider facing the two guards below, because it doesn't look like the entrance to the stairwell will remain, uh, unlit for much longer.]
