[Well. Now, that Jason is kind of done with the guards, they turn and notice Bradley with the FUCKING CLOCK.]

Hey! What are you doing!?

[Ben just looks like yikes.]

Maybe run for it.

[Well. There are two of them, so he probably can't get the second one in time. But he's going to raise the rifle and try to fucking knock one of these guards out by hitting the min the back of the head with the butt of it.

This is not the crime-filled life he wanted to live.

[ He's using this moment to take the clock and run out the museum!

[Bonk! The guard goes out cold. The other is attempting to grapple Jason now??? Hello????

Anyway, Ben is floating alongside Bradley as he flees.]

Woohoo! Though we should probably make sure that other guy is okay.

[He will grapple with this other guard! This is not looking good for him suddenly. He will try to turn the rifle around to point it at them.

This is a threat, he probably won't try shooting, but the guard does not have to know that.]

If you don't want to end up like your pal, then stand down.

He'll catch up!

[ There's one guard up and Bradley's not just gonna throw the clock somewhere and run back to Jason. ]

[Glad Bradley's just abandoning Jason here.

But the guard freezes? UHHHHHHHH. HELP, THERE'S A TWUNKISH HUNK POINTING A GUN AT HIM. He lifts his hands up, terrified.]

[He motions with the rifle.] Back up. Keep backing up. Don't stop backing up until I say to stop. [He's really holding this dude at gun point in front of God and everyone. It's fine.

He is going to wait until the guard is far enough back that he can

just book it.]

[ I love Jason so much. This is all absolutely fine and normal.

Bradley's getting out of the museum. ]

[The guard will do as Jason says because Jason is pointing a FUCKING GUN AT HIM!!!! So yeah, he can book it, along with Bradley and the clock. Out they go onto the streets!

Anywhere in particular they plan to escape to, or will they go back home? They have a home in this AU, for the record.

Meanwhile, Ben looks thrilled, and he's also gazing around at the streets in awe.]

You really did it! So this is what the world outside looks like...

[Well, when he gets out, he has to look for Bradley and the damn Ben clock. When he finds them, he grabs a fistful of Bradley's clothes at the shoulder and starts directing him very fastly away from the museum.

THIS IS NOT THE LIFE HE WANTED, FULL OF CRIME!

They will get away from the museum first, but they are going to go home. IS JASON DRIVING?! Do they have a chauffeur?]

We are never doing this again. You cause us problems, and I'm going to smash the clock.

[ If they have a car, Jason's got to drive it. Bradley has terrible luck with cars and it he's not pushing that today.

At least he lets himself get pulled off and away. ]

We won't have to do it again. Ain't other spirits talking to us.

[Jason's a criminal now and probably driving.

Ben is not looking at either of them because he's staring out the window.]

I won't! I promise I'll be perfectly behaved!

[At least the police aren't chasing you down yet so it should be a peaceful ride.]

[This is a Jan CYOA, so I don't trust that for a second. But sure, Jason will drive them right back in the direction of their home. They should probably pack and leave the country, he's thinking.

They didn't even have anything to conceal their faces! His life is ruined. He cannot believe he became the criminals he hated...]

What are we supposed to do with you now? If you think that guy isn't going to be looking for what we took, you're a fool.

[It's fine what's a little bit of theft against the 1%, they don't really need all the fancy stuff they've gathered up anyway.

He puts the clock on his lap.]

Said ya just wanted to work as a clock again, yeah?

Well, maybe he won't. He did steal me in the first place, so he can't have people poking around there. Also, you two just proved how easy it is to rob the museum, so he probably doesn't want that spreading.

[Fleeing the area might not be a bad idea, though.

To Bradley, he nods.]

Yeah! Can I just stick with you guys for a bit, actually? I bet I'll get to see lots of things with you, and you can pass me off to someone else if you find someone who could use a clock.

... And, uh, I can be totally be useful for stuff! It won't just be me mooching off of you, I swear.

[Heaves a small sigh. Now they are stuck with the clock they stole. And a spirit. Okay.]

[Just trust them on this! Yeah. Anyway, you make it safely to your home or wherever you're living. Assuming Jason and Bradley aren't about to chuck this clock to the side, let me know when you're ready to move on...]
