So, uh... I'm not really sure what to start with. Were those contracts we found real? Harrow said the stuff on Mr. Edgeworth's about when he was one of those avatar guys wasn't true.
The contracts were real. [he doesn't sound thrilled.] But the boss decided to write his own notes for employee evaluation, I guess. Maybe it wasn't true but it would've been enough to make Edgeworth act.
[ he has some questions about the whole kay faraday situation, but he's not sure how much edgeworth would have actually talked about that, and it's probably not that important right now anyway... ]
...What did he tell you about me?
[ also... not important right now... but whatever. ]
He told you some stuff, right? Since you knew I made a lot of puns and everything...
[sora hums to himself, leaning back on his hands on the bed and trying to think.]
Wellll...he left a ton of notes about all of the guests that were staying here. So he mentioned a lot of stuff there. I don't think he ever really gave off the impression you were a bad person or anything though.
[it's been a while and a lot happened so it's possible miles just went "why." and detailed sebastian's history and temperament, but it's fine.]
Mostly it was stuff about--[. . .] Stuff you probably don't know about yet and I probably shouldn't tell you.
Time's been frozen, that part's fine. [but he pauses.] How things go with your trial might change your future though, you're right. I just I never really thought about that.
W-well, um... not... that much... these trials are really messed up, there's like... so much that they do wrong. But... I guess maybe I'm a little better at finding contradictions and stuff now...
That's probably really important. Edgeworth used to talk about deductions and stuff. Breaking down facts to get to the ones that don't add up. I'm sure you'll do great going forward.
I mean, I didn't think so! If a guy gets poisoned with poison gas, it makes perfect sense to suspect the only other person who went into the room and had one of the chemicals that was used in the paint he had with him, right??
[...he wants to ask because wait, can paint actually have enough poison to kill people?? also poisonous gas?? but he decides it's better not to and he simply nods along.]
I think for something like what you guys do, you need both perspectives. That's how it worked here, right? Everybody working together and sharing their ideas and theories to actually get somewhere.

Are they really that bad though? Maybe he just doesn't know what they really mean so he just thinks they're bad.

So... yeah! Maybe you're right!
