[the water beneath you is dark, murky, and hard to see through. the ferry remains docked until the last member boards, and without warning you set sail.
there are no skeletons on the trip back, no shadows lingering in the crevices. it's kim dokja, mikazuki, and aikawa seated together on a bench as the propeller quietly cuts through the water to take them back onward.
they're bruised, battered, bloodied, burned and broken. several injuries piled on one another, several memories colliding in timelines that may or may not make sense...though they can't quite immediately pinpoint the emotion, they may soon recognize it as something like heartbreak.
you have a long journey ahead...but the boat seems to be sailing toward a faint, shadowy portal ahead as the sun continues to rise at dawn.]
