The others over there aren't so bad. So they'll be good company for you, at least. And you can write to us too and... I think one of the others mentioned something about a dream room?
From what the others said, if you ring the bell while thinking of one of us, our constellation will light up... and if you go in there to take a nap, you'll dream of us. It's how we can see you "face to face" after you've left the hotel.
So we are not solely limited to these letters after all. Brilliant. It may not be the same as having tea in the courtyard, but mayhap we could try the next best thing?
Understandably. No one is fond of having their experiences forced upon others. Strangely, I do not know if I find it troublesome - simply odd. Perhaps it is because I have found myself reflecting on much these short few days.
To answer appropriately, my own memories. The life I lived, the people I met... Our futures are never promised, and so I wonder if I will ever get it all back. If naught else, I did at least have it once. I am grateful for that much. And I wonder what other forgotten moments this phenomena will resurface next.
Things like that aren't really easy to reflect on. But I think "I did at least have it once" is a healthy way to look at things. You never know how your life might end up, but - you can at least appreciate the good things you had during it.
Better than being surprised by them, yes? Times have not always been easy - I have been witness to plenty of the harshness that occurs in my world. But I have travelled far, seen the lands it has to offer, and met many of its finest people. It is nice to think of the little moments with said people - gathered within the halls of the Rising Stones as Tataru served her tea, for instance. More recently, we would do the same at the Baldesion Annex. I think of the children we would play with at the Crystarium, who had hopes of growing into heroes that would help their world heal from a century of hurt. I think of the former head of House Fortemps who would at times keep me company late into the night were I still awake... I have many of these sorts of memories.
I'm glad you have them to think about, and I'm glad you got to experience those things in the first place. You must have met many wonderful people in your world.
Truly, those files must be obnoxiously dense if they contain even that. Perhaps I could explain bit by bit, and from the beginning... Had the simulation I drew up ere my untimely demise still been running? Though I know not if you had been present to see aught of it.
...ah - I wasn't the one who took them to the simulation room to investigate. But I did hear about what they found there, afterwards. It was a port city, wasn't it?
That is correct. It is a city called Old Sharlayan, located on an island in the Northern Empty, and it is the city in which I grew up in. It's a shame you had not seen it. I think it a beautiful place.

But a dream room, you say? What does it do?

I'd like that a lot! It would be nice to get to see you again. :3

And you as well.
I shall keep my word this time - for true. At the very least... it isn't likely I shall have any further interruptions.
[ Fortunately(?), you can only die once. ]

I would hope not!
...although I imagine there are probably times it gets sort of rowdy over there.
Considering... who's with you and all.

How fare you as of late?

I hope you haven't had too much trouble with that?

It is all that is left to me now, and I would not push any of it away.

About any of the nice memories you've been reflecting on.

It took me a long time to wholly appreciate the star whence I hail, but it is thanks to those same people that I now do.

Could you tell me a little more about your star?
I could read about it in your file, of course, but I'd rather hear it from you.

Perhaps when we do, you might be able to show it to me. Have you heard of lucid dreaming before, Alphinaud?
