Yes. It wouldn't be good for me to stay away from the Empire for too long.
And there are people and places I really want to see again, too.

What kind of job will you be doing?

im not sure yet? but i have to travel somewhere pretty far from home to help somebody out

how long have you already been away from the empire though?

I recently spent the better part of a year traveling around the world... and I'd only just returned for a few weeks before I found myself here, in a faraway place again. There's a lot happening soon, including a coronation ceremony I'll have to attend, so I really should hurry back.

I suppose I can understand that. I would probably do the same.

I'll have to stay in the Empire for most of the time, especially since Prince Ioder named me "Vice-Emperor"... but I'll have more freedom than before. I used to have to stay in the castle all the time, but now I can travel so long as I have a few guards with me.

if you can still go places then whats a few guards?
what about your friends?

It's sort of an unofficial appointment. My cousin said he wanted me to help advise him. And I think it's kind of a peace offering after a messy succession -- to show everyone that there's no bad blood between us.

I have a friend who lives elsewhere in the Empire. I want to stay in a town close to where she works, so we can get together from time to time! I think that would be really nice.

My other friends work in a guild where they travel a lot, so I hope they'll get to visit me, too.
