You know, she's one of my favorite people in this entire place. Cloud never comes to talk to me, so I don't know him that well, but Lup? She's incredible. Kind of person who deserves to be spoiled a little, especially when she's had such a bad time here.

What I'm saying is maybe this effort could be the start of a long and beautiful and potentially a little embarrassing writing career.

I don't know. It doesn't seem very rough from the rest of our points of view. She's still got everyone she cared about from her own place alive and kicking, even got two back. Had a bestie passed over for murderer, too.

[He's being a little heartless, but it doesn't sound like he really thinks Lup has had a great time necessarily despite this.]

I don't think it's really a measurement contest of who suffers the worst. Some people are more equipped for handling repetitive tragedy. Some people take on everyone else's tragedy and try not to show anyone else when they're hurting. Some people've been at this for almost a year, now.

Makes me wonder if it came down to it, would she trade me and Cloud for Molly, or Harrow, or Sheila, or Yuri. It's a shit line to walk.

Everyone always wants to feel like they're someone's first choice, no matter the situation, and people will always point to mulberry trees, when the locust tree is to blame. I'm just preaching to the choir, in that regard; I don't have to tell you that.
