[ they nod like swords are an acceptable answer. you passed something here, yjh ]
Huh. Those names aren't familiar, but, the system makes sense. Whatever godly position you have goes with your interests. I guess, if you're gonna go with gods, that's the way to do it.
I guess you could say that about us, too. [ aquila laughs a little. ] The Constellations all having their own interests. Hey, is there an Aquila where you're from?
Aquila is mentioned in many cultures and it is for the most part portrayed as a bird. In Hinduism, the stars are attributed to the half-eagle deity, Garuda. Then for ancient Egypt, they saw Aquila as the falcon of Horus, god of kingship and the sky.
For the Greeks, Aquila carried Zeus' thunderbolts, but a story speaks of the eagle bringing the shepherd boy, Ganymede, to Olympus because Zeus desired him. There are some texts that tie the constellation Aquarius to Ganymede, if that means anything to you.
[ i'm not an astrology nerd like lowe but i will do my best ]
If I remember correctly, it's tied to a holiday in China, Qi Xi. The brightest star of the Aquila constellation, Altair, is named Niu Lang and his children are two of the other stars, beta and gamma Aquilae. They're forever separated from wife and mother, Zhi Nu, brightest star Vega in the Lyra constellation. She's on the far side of the river which represents the milky way.
Their love moved the magpies and created a bridge where they could meet. The Emperor of Heaven having seen this was moved, so he allowed them to meet once a year.

... Your names are the names of star formations before we realized they were gods. Aquila would be made up of eight.

It sounds a bit bittersweet, if they're forever separated.
