Thinking about it, Lup's experience was about a group who were forced to entertain a host, but ultimately their contracts were not honoured. I thought about that when deciding how to approach this situation.
Lup told me they were given the chance to revive someone dear to us, but had to entertain the hosts. Their contract told them that they could not reveal who they really were under their masks and fake names. In the end, however, the hosts did not give them their reward, they tried to kill them.
