Not just yet. I want to be certain I understand the terms I'm agreeing to. What manner of task? Will it be unpleasant in some way?

They aren't intended to be easy, but I can at least say that they are unlikely to ask you to go against your morals, if that's what you fear.

It cannot be used in trial, however? So the utility would be in determining whether another person I suspect has killed at some point, should I want to know that outside trial for my own purposes.

Research & Preparation cannot be used in trial, correct. So that is one possible utility.

Hmm. In that case I think I will decline for now, and will reconsider if the time comes that I wish to identify a potential target.
