I suppose I may, yes. I haven't visited this prism myself yet.

It is...large. And there is very little sense to its construction. Absolute nonsense.

[she will start walking in the direction of the doors.]

Incidentally, I was able to review my contract with Aquila. And, as I believe you know, I have an addendum.

[at first i read this as a callout like 'of course you don't understand emotions harrow' and i was like, wow.]

...Little of it was a surprise to me. But I find myself in a difficult position all the same.

Well. [hm.] A task like that requires a bit of strategy, doesn't it?

Ah, you mean in terms of selection? I haven't settled finally just yet. I do mean to try to find potential killers, but given that I don't know how it will work mechanically, I want to exercise caution this first week.

It's best if everyone develops the belief that this is something random rather than indicative of a pattern.

Hiding in plain sight then, you mean. [they seem pleased with her assessment.] That's smart. Your station didn't have things like this, did it?

No, it did not.

Then you think it wise? It is obviously difficult to plan when I do not yet know the particulars of what I will be accomplishing. I have a sense these housekeeping items may wind up as distractions in some way, which is not the effect I want to achieve, but can be mitigated if my choices are banal.

I do think it's wise. You may use this first week as a test, in theory, to see what your limitations are before proceeding with more calculated decisions.

Then that is what I will do. There are one or two I feel a bit wary of, but I will not go obviously for suspicious types.

A sound strategy. You've participated in events like this before, so you have an advantage in knowing what people may or may not hide.

Mm. I do, though I would think they will quickly learn not to hide evidence in their rooms if someone is in there on Thursday night.

Not entirely surprised, but I take your point. It is possible there is no time to find a better hiding place.

Time is of the essence, as you know. Look at what just happened with Sieghart's outfit. That was an item hidden in his room.

...True. We'll see how it plays out this week, but someone else may think to hide something in there.

The odds I'll select correctly on my first attempt are low, but even the absence of a match says something useful.

It gives you a starting point which is more than you had before. Not all evidence is obvious evidence, after all.
