it's difficult to say what they might be thinking, given that they're pausing to stare at her for a long time. but, after a great amount of hesitance, they sit down on the edge of the bed once more.]

Is that...a real complaint?

Yes. I have had insufficient cuddles this whole weekend. I'm wilting. Thanos snapped.

[she reaches over to grab the hem of their uniform. but it's like under the blanket so she sort of just greg-wiggles her arm over and flops to touch it.]

but she manages to brush the hem of their uniform and they draw in a breath. it's slow, but eventually...they shift a little so that they're more comfortably seated on the bed with their back against the headboard so she can curl up against them.]

I find it hard to believe you've a shortage of people who would provide comfort to you. [it's more of an idle observation than anything.]

[she scoots over to them a bit and steals all their warmth.]

I like having something that's just mine. [she says, quietly. and then, lighter:] But I bet you cuddle with all the other guests, don't you!

[oh that's fine. they are warm at least.]

Unsurprising. [but they pause for a moment.] ...you would be the first, and you will be the last, I believe.

[a long pause.]

No other prospects, huh?

[she curls a little closer.]

You know that sounds super foreboding right.

I don't quite know. I'm aware you were able to in your original station, but...I don't really know how it would work here. Why do you ask?

[a little sigh.]

[she's quiet for a bit.]

This is a hell of a time for me to have to go be emotionally vulnerable at people.
