I wish I had advice that wasn't something like "use your best judgment." It's easy to say something like that, but putting it into action is where it gets trickier. What kind of advice would you give one of your participants if this came up back at your station?

I don't know if this ever came up at the station. We didn't have these. Nobody worked with us, it was just the wild west, and when people came to me, it was always to ask me for fun toys to murder people with.

And I couldn't tell them no.

I think there's a difference between whining and expressing exasperations but I get it. You're able to do something, it's just about figuring out how to do it.

I find it hard to believe people would yell for something you don't exactly have control over, but people get angry for dumber things.

Oh, you never know. I really expected my sinners to yell at me for trying to feed them to a furby, but instead they just keep telling me I have bad taste in men.

People get angry about weird things!
