[My favorite part about these things are when people with actual medical knowledge try to apply that to CYOAs, as if i aki have any idea how snake bites actually work and am following a linear and logical progression here.
Anyway! Sieghart's out here gently dabbing at his nastyass bite which looks very yucky and red and will probably soon be infected considering he went for a dip in river water. The child gives him a worried look.]

Eventually, he'll spot something up ahead. The night sky is beginning to lighten just a bit and he's not battling with the shadows of foliage, so he'll have a little more visual clarity than before. There's what appears to be a small, wooden waterfront house, nondescript in all ways. The windows are currently dark, and the front door is shut. There's a dock on the river right in front of it which looks like it might keep a small vessel, but there doesn't appear to be any boat docked there at the moment.
