Not that there was much moving away left. The water level reaches the platform, the surface being just a foot away from it! Zuko's ice pillar, floating in the water, bobs closer to the platform itself, and his sword and Sheila's bomb arrow get buried into the malice, making it writhe, roar, it backs off! A huge mass of it turned slowly around Zuko, as if trying to figure out the best angle to approach and try to drag him into a watery doom, but...

Instead, it changes tactics. Now that it reached a high spot, all of it goes upwards, forming a thin dome of sorts above them, around nine feet above. Not only that, after that, it forms a tendril, reaching for Sebastian, trying to grab him! The skull still on his neck, to this evil it signals he's vulnerable and can be caught. The weakest link in this group, it figures! So it attempts to reach him before others can react and are recovering from their own problems, trying to capture Sebastian. The plan is to get drag him into the web-like strands above, and dispose of him to its leisure!
